Introducing Broker-Branded Invites for Wholesale Mortgage Lenders

Argyle now offers a broker-branded borrower experience available to wholesale lenders through the Argyle Verification API or Encompass® TPO Connect. Now, brokers can get the same direct-source verification lenders rely on and benefit from faster turn times, lower costs, and a better borrower experience.

Borrowers need to recognize where a verification request is coming from. In Argyle's lender flow, invites carry the lender's branding, because the lender is who the borrower has been working with. In wholesale, the borrower's relationship is with the broker — so the invite carries the broker's name and contact information instead. This way, the borrower recognizes who sent it and knows exactly who to contact with questions.

How it works

Wholesale lenders can enable broker-branded invites through either the Argyle Verification API or Encompass TPO Connect, depending on how their loan origination workflow is set up.

Once enabled by the wholesale lender admin, brokers can send verification invites with their name and contact details, allowing borrowers to share their income, employment, and asset data straight from the source through Argyle's consumer-directed connections. That data arrives as GSE approved direct-source documentation, ready for the lender to underwrite the file.

What it means for wholesale lenders

This gives lenders a way to offer broker-branded invites across their entire network, without building or maintaining a separate flow for every broker relationship.

  • Faster turn times to clear to close. Consistent, direct-source documentation supports cleaner files, with fewer underwriting requests and less back-and-forth with brokers and borrowers.
  • One setup across the broker network. Broker-specific invites are generated from a single configuration, with no bespoke flow to build or maintain for each broker.
  • A more competitive offering for brokers. Offer your broker base a lower-cost verification option than they absorb today, alongside document-based income verification as a fallback.

What it means for brokers

Brokers get a verification experience that looks and feels like their own, without a separate integration to manage.

  • Faster turn times to clear to close, with less back-and-forth with borrowers.
  • Lower costs, with direct-source verification priced below traditional credit-bureau providers, and savings passed down from the wholesale lender.
  • Simple implementation, since verification drops into your existing workflow without a custom build.
  • A broker-branded experience, so borrower touchpoints stay centered on you, not the wholesale lender.

How to get started

Wholesale lenders can contact our sales team to add broker-branded invites to your Argyle setup.

Brokers working with a wholesale lender already on Argyle should reach out to that lender to have broker-branded invites enabled through their Encompass TPO or proprietary flow.

Independent brokers, or brokers whose wholesale lender isn't using Argyle yet, can join our waitlist to be notified as broker-branded invites roll out more broadly.
